This policy covers purchases made directly from Wonderful Books. For purchases through another retailer, contact that retailer.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If goods have a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement. Other failures will be addressed with the remedy required by applicable law.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect books
If your book arrives damaged, is faulty or differs from your order, please contact us with your order number, a description of the issue and, where helpful, photographs. Contacting us promptly helps us investigate, but does not impose a fixed deadline on statutory rights. Keep the book and packaging while we assess the issue.
How to request a return
Contact us before sending an item back so we can provide the correct return address and instructions. Do not send returns to an author event venue or a publisher. Keep proof of postage. Where a fault is confirmed, reasonable return postage costs will be reimbursed as required by law; contact us to discuss arrangements.
Change of mind
We do not offer an automatic change-of-mind return entitlement unless an applicable offer states otherwise. You may contact us to request an exception before returning a book. Any voluntary approval, condition requirements and return postage arrangements will be confirmed before you send it. This does not affect rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
eBooks and personalised items
Please check your selected format before purchasing. Digital editions and personalised or signed books are not automatically refundable for change of mind once supplied or personalised. Faults, failed digital delivery and statutory rights remain covered. If an eBook cannot be accessed, contact us so we can help resolve access or provide an appropriate remedy.
Cancellations and refunds
Contact us promptly to request an order change or cancellation. We cannot guarantee changes after dispatch or digital supply. Where a refund is due, it will be issued without undue delay to the original payment method where possible. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show it. We will explain any alternative refund arrangement before proceeding.
